Akanya is in active development. The lecturer pilot is how the framework meets real assessments, real disciplines and real cohorts before anything is fixed in place.
How a pilot runs.
A pilot is scoped to one assessment. It is deliberately small, because the point is to find out where the framework fails, not to demonstrate that it works.

A short conversation
We ask about the assessment you already run, the discipline, the class size and where you think a polished answer is currently hiding weak reasoning.

Configure one assessment
Add approved source material, set the assessment requirements, then review and edit the draft questions before approving the paper.

Test before inviting students
Walk through the approved assessment first. Any student participation is agreed with the lecturer and institution as part of the pilot scope.

Review the reasoning and share feedback
Inspect the reasoning journey and optional Marking Assist suggestions. The lecturer retains the final marking decision; feedback helps us improve the workflow.

What do I need to prepare?
Start with one assessment, its approved source material and your requirements, such as learning outcomes, question types, marks and duration. Do not upload confidential course material through this public site.
Do I have to use AI marking?
No. Marking Assist is optional and its suggestions are not final marks. It can use the rubric and reasoning evidence without a separate answer blueprint. The lecturer retains the final decision.
Is the guided demo a live assessment?
No. It uses a fictional case and scripted responses. Nothing you type into that demonstration is submitted or saved, and it does not generate AI marks.
Do students need to participate immediately?
No. Begin with lecturer testing. Any use with students, including scope and data-handling arrangements, is agreed before participation.
Your data, in brief
This public site collects the contact details and feedback you choose to submit. It is not a place to upload identifiable student work. Data access, retention and deletion arrangements for a pilot are agreed separately before materials are uploaded.
